BUild your own antenna?

    i was wondering if there was any way for me to build an afordable and simple tv antenna for my capture card kworld atsc 120 and i found something that i liked but i have know idea if it would work and the directions suck so could you tell me if this would work http://members.shaw.ca/hdtvantenna/

    a lot of OVER THE AIR broadcast depends on how close you are to the signal being transmitted. As for me, I bought an antenna, and it didn't work at all. I couldn't even get ONE channel. But I live about 50 miles away from the broadcast area, and the antenna was a small, cheap, indoor style.

    So, to sum up: If you want to get the most channels you can get. Buy a large outdoor antenna. I only assume the homemade version will only work if you were very close to the transmission tower.
