haha thanks.. Does it run with 4GB of ram but can only display 3.5? Or does it run with only 3.5GB because that's all it can handle?

It can only handle 4GB of ram. Your video card used up 512MB, so you can only use up 3.5gb of system ram.

You won't as long as you stick with XP. I ran a similar set of applications in XP and Vista, XP-32 uses 760MB of RAM, Vista-64 used 2040MB...

Indeed, i meant us running programs, not Vista just taking up loads of memory for itself :)

    Haha, well indeed... :p
Highest I've managed so far is 3.2GB, which is when I accidentally ran STALKER and Crysis both at once... Lol!

I've managed 8GB before... stress testing. Yeah, I've honestly not seen the use of more than 3GB of ram myself.

You can probably hit 3.8ghz with that chip. Start off slow, like 3.4 and work your way up.

You know how to OC right?

first of all... lol PSU, im assumeing you meant CPU?

ok set the FSB to 390 and set your CPU multiplier to 9.5 and set you CPU voltage (Vcore) to 1.3

No I was actually intending to overclock my wattage on the power supply can that be done?

haha ya i meant cpu. I'm new to ocing but I is it all that involved? The only part I'm a little confused what to set the voltage at based on how high I overclock.

hehe i wish it could be done :(

just try the setting i gave, if they dont work up the voltage by an increment each time.
