First I apologize for askin this ? on this site, I didn't no where else to go. I need 2 buy a new work radio. I work in construction. I have a old dewalt radio that has seen better days. The new dewalt radios r junk, IMO. The Milwaukee work radios r pretty good, but do not come with a battery. Pulling a cord around on job site can get tiresome. So, my thought was that I could build my own radio. What I would like the radio to have is nice sound, a auxilliary port, and be able to work off a dewalt battery. I have searched the net, but not sure what I'm lookin at. Does anybody know if what I'm tryin 2 do is possible do at home, and if its even worth it. Meaning, If I was to buy a Milwaukee radio and a battery, then I would have to buy a charger since Milwaukee radio don't charge batteries. My total would be up around $200.
