building need some serious help

    i got all my parts and ive been trying to put the thing together.
    i got everything in there.

    i start it up the fans start turning the leds come on.

    but nothing will appear on my monitor.

    nothing at all.

    the led on the monitor just blinks like its unplugged.

    im fearing that my mobo is fried.

    but its brand new so i hope not..

    Try taking you CPU out and checking the socket and CPU for any grime or dust it sounds silly but there's a chance something's in there....

    Also what sort of motherboard do you have sometimes motherboards don't support certain CPU's or are given support via BIOS update.

    Have you correctly inserted the RAM? Have you connected the 4-pin square power connector to the motherboard as well as the 24-pin ATX?
    Have you connected the 6-pin PCIe power connector to the graphics card?
    What other parts do you have? You haven't listed them all.

    Have you tried it with just one stick of memory? The first review on newegg is a complaint about "one of the sticks was DOA"
