haha i messed up actually it was a e machines pc.. it looks just like an hp though lol
eMachines is worse. Lol. Let us know how it goes with the new PSU.
eMachines PSUs are ALWAYS crap. No exceptions.
I heard that eMachines use refurb parts in their systems which gives them a low life and cheap price. Is this true Sam? Do you know anything about it? What is the best PC Manufacturer in your opinion?
I don't know about that, but the number of eMachines PCs that have had to have their PSUs replaced is absurd.
For prebuilds, I still think Dell make decent systems. Sure, the're not cheap, but they're better made than most brands, and their warranty service, while again expensive, is particularly good. Advent PCs also use decent components, but I don't know if they exist in the US or not.
Realistically though, the best made PC you're likely to find is one you build yourself.
I completly agree on that. With custom built, some systems use proprietary parts making them expensive to replace (Dell Mobo/PSU) and some systems have quality parts but lack quality in other components. I have built about 5 systems myself and I have not had any major problems with them. Also when you custom build, you know exactly where the problem lies and can fix it fast rather than having to go through the diagnostic beeps or LEDS on Dells (ABCD LEDS)
Well precisely. The way I see it, if you built it, you can repair it!
