bumping threads

I think bumping is bad as well. Try to follow the rules. However
lately I have had a problem. Post a reply-a couple of hours later
you have more info to add, but the post still shows a head. So you
have to do a new reply just to post the info. This did not happen
in the past so I'm not sure what is going on.
Also when you post a new reply then both the previous reply and
the new one show the ability to edit.
