is it possible to create a DVD-VR disk with Nero 7 without any recoding/transcoding/etc... just take a bunch of mpeg2 files and burn to dvd-vr... I tried disabling smartencoding in nero vision 4 but it doesn't change anything... it just takes forever to burn a disk (2.5 hours to burn 90 min of video)
if the point of what you are doing is to just store it on disc, burn it as data.as the files are already mpeg2 compatible or dvd quality, open up convert x and just select burn dvd, inport all the files and it should be fine for you
no... I am trying to burn a dvd-vr yet force nero NOT to recode the video... regardless of the smartencoding setting, it takes forever to burn a dvd. I suspect something is broken in Nero7 (based on all the threads suggesting to downgrade to 6.x)
