hi just use google to find either the file named for example LOSTFILE.EXE or .DLL etc.. there are databases that may hold a good file... you can also reload your os over the top of old to load all back in!
I just checked power producer 2and error said the burn engine failed. I guess what ever it is will not me burn. somebody put a bug in my computer some how. Or O deletted some thing that had a common file. I guess there is no help.
well guys I solved the problem. I clean installed xp home. I had a bug that wouldn't let me burn anything even my floppy drive. I hated to lose some info but thats life. Thanks again tinner45

hi if you made multissesion discs and made full finalized discs ok before then, it could be a bad batch of discs you have? i would test this by reading the dye info on the discs you have now and the discs you made ages ago to see if the dye type id the same? use either dvdinfo pro or dvd identifier or dvd decrypter and compare the 2 dye infos...
