I had that problem before... Your Nero version is outdated, the newest version is 6.6.0.18 Your firmware is outdated, newest version is B377, you can get it here: http://www.nu-global.com/admin/download/file/NU-DDW-082-B377.zip Your DMA is off, you need to turn it on. Right click My Computer>Properties>Hardware>Device Manager>IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers>Right click the channels>Advanced Settings>Transfer Mode put DMA if possible. It's not too bad but try to limit the burn to 4300Mb
