Burn process failed! Wasted 30+ dvd-r discs!! HELP

ill give it a go and try and burn the same disc, failed twice today, and see if it works

 

The black socket is a FDD socket so had no luck there, so i tried the slave and master thingy on 1 ide cable this time didint even reconize the drives, so i put it back to how i originally had it, burnt a couple of dvds but more failed, I want it so it works 100%, none of this randomly failing for no reason it is REALLY buggin me, i find it strange that it picks the dvd burner up on a raid connection,

IF ANYONE CAN HELP I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT BECAUSE AT THE MOMENT I AM PULLING MY HAIR OUT!!! check the log out and see what you think

As you can see below my burner is on viamraid port 2 with dma off, if that is the issue then a fix would be great, cheers
