Ok, Let's start by upgrading your firmware to 1.20 here Turn DMA on! Do this in IDE controllers found in Hardware Manager. ARGH, this is the worst media you could possibly get! Use media made by Sony, Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden. As you're using the worst media ever, your drive doesn't recognise it, hence all the zero's.
i have used these disks before and havent had a problem but thanks!! i have used sony as well and always turns out great!
here is how to turn your DMA on: http://my.afterdawn.com/alkohol/blog_entry.cfm/231/dmaissues this drive shows that you Roxio or Sonic cohabitating with Nero..... both clash..... get rid of Roxio or Sonic and use Roxio zapper to get every last trace of it off your computer: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Roxio-Zap.shtml untill you do get this driver out you'll have trouble burning DVDs!
Well even if they have worked before, it doesn't change the fact that they are awful media. I'd suggest some new ones Missed that point, IHoe, Roxio = hell IMHO.
