Burned a WAV file onto disk, it reads it and plays but it is silent!

    Help! i just recorded something onto cool edit pro and saved it as a wav file, i then burnt it onto disk, and when i put it in a cd player, it reads the disk, but it is silent! what am i doing wrong? it also made a .pk file aswell, i tried burning with and without it and both times it still dosn't play! i really need this to play, any suggestions on what to do!?

    Make sure that you burn it as 16bit 44100Hz Stereo .wav.
    Have you burned working audio CD-Rs before from .wav using the same burning software / drive / media?
    Have you tried extracting the audio from the burned CD with CEP (or some audio extraction program + opening the resulting files with CEP)? - What's the result?
