Burned out hard drive

    Hi, was hoping someone with a bit more experience in this arena might be able to advise what would be a good brand/vendor for replacing the blender that is now the 80gb hard drive in my G4 PB. Looking to replace with a 100-120gb if that helps at all. Thanks much for any imput folks may have.

    you wont be able to get a hdd over 100gb
    impossible to fit in pb

    Thanks anyway gents. Put a 5400 WD 120G in last week. No problem.

    first you can place a 100 gig or better hard drive in that powerbook but you have another problem if you go to high on gigs tha logicboard will fry and kill your laptop so i recommend a 80 gig to 100 gig only

    thx m8 will keep that in mind. Stoked on all the space I have now but if the 120 shortens the life maybe better to downgrade...
