Burni ng Movie from Hard disk to DVD

    cheap dvdrs?

    burning too fast?

    output size close to outer edge of dvdr (end of film jumps etc)

    multitasking?

    i was multitasking

    and i let it auto pick the speed, whats a good speed?

    No, max speed is not good. Multitasking not good. During the encoding, your CPU is maxed out. You multitask, and the movie will be like bad '80s disco remix. Unless you have a multi core machine.

    i burn ritek@ 4x and verbs (TY dye) @ 6x

    whats the dye code off the discs used? may be cheapo thats doesnt help you.

    I burn at 6x and with some larger files will set my output to 4300, so it doesn't burn too close to the edge of the disc.

    ok first they are philips dvd's and they work on my dvd player.

    i tryed dvdflick again last night, i set it to "best" write option (there were 4, fastest fast norml and best) i also left the computer so i could burn. it still does the lagging thing.

    the dvd back is purple, is that what u ment by dye?

    no! use dvdinfo pro or dvd identifier or imgburn and copy and paste info from disc inserted in your drive to this tread, so we can see dye code
