    Hi there,

I have some US TV shows (NTSC)in HDTV that are in AVI format. I burn them using NeroVision (to PAL) and they burn almost fine, I say almost because although in NeroVision it says they are set to 16x9 they don't actually burn at 16x9.

Does anyone know how to actually burn these in true 16x9 format?

Also occasionally on some shows the audio sync drifts.

    Any suggestions?

These are my stats from AVIcodec:

    Video : 301 MB, 989 Kbps, 23.976 fps, 624*352 (16:9), XVID = XVID Mpeg-4, Supported

    Audio : 47 MB, 157 Kbps, 48000 Hz, 2 channels, 0x55 = Lame MP3, Supported

    _X_X_X_X_X_[small]Thanks

Converting from NTSC to PAL (and vice versa) always runs the risk of sound becoming out of sync because your converting from 29.97 frames per second to 25 frames per second.

As far as keeping the 16x9 I'm not sure. Check http://videohelp.com and see if they have any articles in there about it.
