Burning a 3 hour movie....

    I am trying to burn a dvd that is over 3 hours long using DVD Shrink i have had no other problems before how can i go about doing this is there a way of doing this or a differant program i need to do this? please respond..thank you.

    Hi Dav3,

    You may need to shrink it twice...if once is not enough. Quality can get a bit dubious though.
    Shrink it to your harddrive (don't burn it) and then when completed open the files again and you can shrink it some more!
    OR
    Split it over multiple DVDs. Search the forum for ideas on this.

    The movie i am trying to copy is Winds Of War collction, part 3 and part 4 dont fit, i am going to try compressing it thank you and if there are any onther ways please post

    When using Shrink are you checking both AC3 and DTS audio?

    im not really sure i didnt uncheck anything whith Shrink i got myself clone dvd now and am burning it so ill post what happened with it when im done.

    Allright ive done it! I opened and riped the dvd with DVDShrink and then opened them and burnt it with CloneDVD. works fine and without anycomplicated steps or changing anything didnt even have to check or uncheck anything just hit next, next next ect.

    I rip with DVD Decrypter, then I run it through CloneDVD2. Great program, huh?

    ive used that prog in the past(older versions) alls i did was run into problems with geting threw the copywrits and whatnot i got fustrated as i do quite easly...i stick to easy to use programs that dont f*** up once its messed up with me once chances are i wont go back to it unless i comeup hopeless looking elcewhere
