Hi, I am looking for some advice for the best way to burn a movie from '.img file' to DVDR, I have nero 6 which seems not to support this type of file. Any help will be greatfully received. Dave.

    Good question.
I'm not sure I know all the answers. I have never used a .img file so I am just going by what I have read.

Not all .img files are the same and I guess it may depend on if it is a CD .img or DVD .img.
I don't know how you tell other than by the size. A .img file for a DVD would probably be much larger.

I have read that in many cases, you can just change the .img extension to .iso.
It could then be burned by Nero.

If that doesn't work, DVD Decrypter can burn .img files to DVD if it is a DVD .img file.

Alcohol 120% should be able to burn both DVD and CD .img files.

CloneCD can burn CD .img files.

CloneDVD may be able to burn DVD .img files, but I don't know for sure.
