I have multiple DVD's that have been already ripped using DVD Shrink and then burned using Nero Recode.

I would like to take these DVD's and copy them, making multiple copies. However, I only have the actual DVD and no files saved on my laptop.

What is the best way to do this in Nero 7 Ultra?
    What are the steps?

Can I just copy the file from the disc to a new folder and then burn in Nero?
I have no idea how to go about this and it's driving me crazy.

    Any help would work!!

    Thanks so much

    You can use Nero Express.

Open Nero StartSmart and select Nero Express on the left.
When that opens, select Image,Project,Copy on the left then select Copy Entire DVD.

The Select Source and Destination window opens.
Here you can set the drives you are using and your burn speed. Put your blank in before setting your burn speed though. Otherwise the default settings should be OK.

No problem, Have to copy the files off the disc to your hard drive.

First make a folder on your desktop to transfer to. I maed one called Fantastic_Four because that's the movie I working with.

Next put the movie in the drive and once it is spun up, open Windows Explorer. Find the drive and expand it to show the AUDIO_TS and the VIDEO_TS folders. Mine looks like this:

Now click your movie folder to open it and then first drag the AUDIO_TS folder into it and then the VIDEO_TS folder over. The transfer will look like this:

    This might take a while.

Once you get it all transferedyou can open Nero Burning ROM and use the DVD-Video mode to do the burn.

See if you can post your last couple of Nero log files. That will have what I need to look at.
Make sure to remove your Nero serial number. (The 28 digit number at the to of each log.)

    Your logs should be here:
    C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero 7\Core\NeroHistory.log

Newer Nero 7 versions are saved in:
    C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Ahead\Nero Burning ROM

    Recode logs are saved here:
    C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Ahead\Nero Recode

You should try burning a regular DVD like you did when you made the copies you are trying to copy. Just to see if that works.

How familiar are you with burning using Nero Burning ROM? I don't think you could even start a burn unless things were set correctly. It will give you warnings if you set something wrong.

I see a few issues here that you should correct.

    Your Nero needs updated:
You need to enable DMA on your Sony:
    Guide:
    http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/dvdguide005.html

This is a Dell computer I think, let me know if you were able to enable DMA.

Use some different blank DVDs. This is about as bad as it gets:
Try Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden, Sony made in Japan or Hitachi Maxell.

This shows a successful burn, was it?:

So, DMA was already enabled in my primary and secondary.

one of the burns was successful, it just took soooo much longer than normal. 2+ hours.

i might have to get the movies all over again and re-do them that way. this is so frustrating.

You can go here for the newest version:
    http://www.nero.com/nero7/enu/nero7-up.php

You still show DMA off in the last log you posted
That and the CMC Mag media may be the cause of the slow burns. Neither one of these issues make for fast burning. A media change alone may speed things up.

DMA off with a Dell PC may or may not cause speed problems. It would not surprise me if you see it on in your device manager and the burn log shows it as off. It's a Dell... Cable select jumper settings and other Dell specific IDE stuff.
