i want to burn avi files on onto dvdR.
i have winavi to convert the files into dvd mode and i am able to burn onto disc using nero 7.2 premium edition, but the size of the file increases by double after converting,is this normal or is there a way to redude this? e.g i had an avi file on my comp which was approx 700mb, when i used winavi, the resulting output files added upto 2gb. do i need all of the output files to burn onto disc?

    any help is much appreciated

    cheers

@CDC , First up, you being a Junior Member should know not to hijack others threads., having said that I use NeroVision as per my link in the above post, I do NOT convert the files, I just allow NeroVision to do all necessary conversion and burning.

Usually,in my opinion,a 700MB avi movie can be converted to DVD in 4.3GB or 4.7GB,just for a DVD disc.So 2GB is normal. With winavi, you just need to add VIDEO _TS folder for burning.
