I have media files in avi format. I tried using vso ConvertXtoDVD, but the whole process took about 3 hours. Does anyone know of how to shorten the conversion process? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

the amount of time it take to complete a conversion depends on a couple things. The size of the file, and your computer speed. I have tried a couple different programs and convertx seemed to be the best for me. It does take time, seems to me it took me about an hour for a 45 minute avi. There are some things you can do to help speed it up, most of all let it work alone and do not multi-task while the program is running. That can slow it down considerably.

It depends on your equipment, this is pretty standard for me.
