I have a Divx movie on my desktop that plays fine. I want to burn it to a DVD. I have Nero. What is the best way to do this? just dragging and dropping doesn't work. Does the file have to be converted first? My DVD player will play Divx movies. How many films can you fit on one disk? The films seem to average 700mb each. any advice appreciated!
We have several guides here with step-by-step instructions for burning DivX to DVD. http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/
I can't see one! I don't want to convert the file as my DVD player will play Divx files. Its just a matter of getting it off my desktop and onto a DVD or a CD without any conversion.
Go here and download the free conversion tool http://www.vso-software.fr/ after running the the movie through the program, I use a shink/nero combination to burn. Two 700mb sections will fit onto a dvd disc without compression shrink in re-author mode will do this. see ScubaPetes guides here http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/ bbmayo's here http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/index.html happy burning gringle
I don't use divx discs, and people have told me thats all you need to do, but if not give gringle's way a try
