burning dvd

    Hey, is there any way at all of me burning mpegs on a dvd without converting to dvd format? If there is a way I don't want to bother with converting.

    yea ... just transfer it like data, but it won't play in a dvd player :)

    It will still play on a pc though. For it to play in a dvd player it needs to be in a dvd compatible format, so for that you will need to convert it.

    If it's just convenience that you're talking about, some programs (e.g. DVDSanta, Nero) convert and burn at the same time.
