I have several family movies that I have transferred from videotape onto my Pioneer DVR/DVD recorder unit. Because these were burned in real time, I tried to put these DVDs into my iMac 15 in. flat panel running OS 10.4.5 using MTR to extract them.....but they aren't able to be extracted. Is there anyway that I can burn these on my computer? I would appreciate any help with this.

what is the model number on it?

finalizing the disc simply means closing off the disc so that nothing else can be added. making it playable on other players. such as the one on your mac

Toast 7 can do it (you do not even need to finalise the disc). Select the video tab and use the
media selector to browse the DVD.
