I have been having this problem with burning cdr's for the past week. I came here and noticed that the DMA mode could be turned off. So I uninstalled the driver and reinstalled and everything burned fine up to three disk, then it did it again. So I uninstalled the driver again, reinstalled, burned 2 more disk, uninstalled, reinstalled and now I can't even burn one disk.
