I'm having an issue on burning. I have no problem writing images or backing up my music files to my hard drive but when it comes to burning it onto a cd, it gives me problems. My simulation mode is not on. I 've tried all poss ways of buring using alcohol Clone and Nero burning by using a data cd, audio cd, vcd, svcd, and also burning an image. All three programs I have mentioned above is installed on my computer. (Just wondering, installing all three programs won't mess with the burner, right?)
Are there solutions for these problems?
Thanx for your time and help

What kind of problems ?? Does it try to burn ? Is your burner being recognized ? You have Nero , what does the Info Tool say ?

When you start a thread it makes it so much easier for someone to help you IF you describe the problem and give info on what you done and what errors you are getting -- Smiles.. !!

    Sry about that...
I'm trying to burn a cd but I'm having trouble doing it. My cd burner is recognized because I can rip images and songs but I can't write it to a cd, so I have all these files I have ripped on my harddrive. I can't really do a system restore because I need the files that contains in my harddrive. I have clone nero and alcohol 120 install currently.
I know it's not simulating....cuz I had that problem before...
Anymore info I need to give you?
Well hope there is a solution to this
Thanx for your help and time...
    I appreciate it! :)

sry, feel like a complete idiot. Anyways I'll keep it simple.
Let's just say that I have an image on my computer and I want to write the image to a cd. I can either use clone nero or alcohol 120%. But the problem is all three programs won't write. I mean it goes through all the writing process and it gets to 100% and the cd pops out and says that your cd is complete. But when I put it back, it's blank. Nothing's been written on it.

Same thing when I try burning some backed up music files or important data files. Can't burn it. I know I"m not simulating cuz I had that problem before.
    Oh and I don't know if this'll help but I believe it's a USB 2.0

So, Anything else I need to tell you? If so please do so.
    And THANX AGAIN...
