Burning movies onto CDs

    Can someone please tell me how to play Dvd rips on a regular dvd player. I have this Avi file of the movie and some Cds, but thats about it.

    Your best bet would be to convert the AVI file to two MPEG files and burn them onto cd's. Your DVD player has to be able to read CD-R's and VCD's. If you go to this link, you should be able to find all the necessary information regarding converting AVI's to MPEG's. http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/divx_to_vcd.cfm

    I know it says converting Divx to VCD but it can be used for converting a normal AVI as well. Ignore the subtitle part if you don't have subtitles. This is probably the only way you can view it on a home DVD player without a DVD burner.
