    1) what program(s) did you use?

    2) what exactly was the problem?

First off, a cue file is just a file that tells the program you are using how to burn the bin.
and the bin file is the actual contents. so i dont think that it is neccesary to exract anything
from the Bin and Cue files, so start like this:

you will need Alcohol 120% which you can get from here.

    http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_tools/alcohol120.cfm

    once you have installed it:

    open up Alcohol.

    click on "Image Burning Wizard"

then you click on "Browse" and locate the cue file.

select the cue file and click on "next"

select your dvd/cd recorder and select your write speed

make sure that the write method is on "disc at once" or "doa/sao"

make sure that "write" and "enable buffer underrun technology" are checked

    now click on start

and the program will start to write your files to cd/dvd
