Let's say for minute that I am ignorant when comes to Backing up dvds.

I used dvd decryptor to write an ISO image to my harddrive. It doesn't look like an image. It looks like folders. The first Folder is the name of the DVD, In it is a folder VIDEO_TS, and in it is all of the VOB,IFO, and stream Info.

I know I can burn this with NERO.

    1. Tell me how please.

By the way the whole dvd is 3.??gig.

    2. Are these folders called an ISO image?
    3. Do I have to make an image?

    Please give me Nero Instructions.

    Thank you in advance.

i use nero to burn and have had 100% success.
my writer is a ricoh mp5125a. i use verbatim
DVD+R Discs order code 43205. I have done about 20 backups of the "movie only".My method uses "dvd decryptor" and dvd2one(this is worth the money about 35 euros- it does a movie in about 40-60 mins)it also utilises the full 4.7 gbon the disk.
a:use dvddecrypt in file mode and select movie only.
b:fire up dvd2one select "movie only mode" open up your ripped VIDEO_TS file.
c:select your destination file eg movie/riped/VIDEO_TS.
d:press "next" and after 40 mins you will have your main movie files.
e:eek:pen up Nero select dvd-video select iso level 1, character set 9660 selected, joliet UNTICKED.Label select and give the movie its name. press NEW.
f: nero opens with VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS in left hand pane. In the right side pane navigate to the VIDEO_TS FOLDER where dvd2one did the business to. select all the files and drag them to the left pane into VIDEO_TS.
g:select from neros file menu "write CD".
h:click write on the dialogue box that appears.
i:after 20 minutes or so you will have your disk.
i check mines out on sonys portable piquot player.
    good luck.
ps you can use this method to burn with nero if you have the video_ts files from another source other than dvd2one.
    works everytime for me.
Thanks to both afterdawn and doom9 for getting me this far.

What version of NERO are you using. I don't have this option

    (You said)
"e:eek:pen up Nero select dvd-video select iso level 1, character set 9660 selected, joliet UNTICKED.Label select and give the movie its name. press NEW"

    1.What version are you using?
2.Do I cancel Out of the wizard?
3.If I do, what do I open it up under?
3.When I Burn it the way that I have been doing it, it says it is a multisession DVD. Do I want to burn it that way. I pick yes. DVDs won't play in the dvd player.

    I'm using version 5.5.10.35
Dont use the wizard, select new compilation from the file menu.
select DVD on the drop down box in the top left, then select dvd-video (my step e).

Ive never managed to burn successfuly using image files or bin files.wasted about 4 or 5 discs trying.
