burning using nero vision 4 on the enhanced nero 7

I attempted burning avi clips of a movie I have on my hard driveusing nero vision 4
the transcoding part of the process worked but at the end of the burning procees the project was aborted
I took the disc (Philips DVD+R DL) and was able to play the movie on my pc but not on any other dvd
I cant see this being on encryption proble
also I dont know at what point the error occured

any idea
