while attempting to burn a vcd using a avi file Nero stops responding, it's fine when i burn anything else. I have a 32x writer and i have not installed incd or any other burning software. I have also run checks on my hard drive and my registry but no problems found. Can you help?

    Thanx

you only want to use Nero to create VCD when the file is in MPG format. First, convert the format using TMPGenc, and then use Nero to create the VCD.

    Good Luck..

Usually nero would do all the re-encoding itself for most formats but with avi, they can't because they are bound to law enfored by Microsoft (avi, windows format) to not re-encode to another format.
