I have searched high and low throughout the forums and could not find any information for my specific questions. If you have any tips, hints or even a link to a specific thread, it would be greatly appreciated. The discs used are TDK Video DVD-RW and the DVD RW drive is an LG Brand. The files I want to burn onto the disc are files that I want to watch on my tv/dvd player. The files are episodes from television are in the format of xvid / mpeg layer 3. Thank you for any/all tips.

If your DVD player can show DivX files then the XviD files should also be ok.
The files can be burned to the disk as data.
    Nero can burn data disks.

If your player can only show 'DVD Format files (and is not DivX compatible) the files have to be converted to DVD format and authored to the disk.
    Nero Express can do this.
