I burnt a CD with audio files from my computer, it plays on my computer but not on a CD player. On Nero Express I dropped the files to the 'add files' window, and I have been informed that is incorrect method, if you want the CD to play in stand alone CD player. What is the correct method please.

Did you choose "Music"->"Audio CD" or you left it to DATA?

Did you use "disc at once"/"finalize disc"?

Well, if you did everything as you should, your player might just be picky when you feed it burned discs... Try not to burn at the maximum speed; probably you don't have another player to try and play the disc?

Try burning with a different application, for example try ImgBurn, just to see if your player is at fault:

It might look complicated, but is not at all.
