burnt dvd not recognized in Ubuntu.
In fact it will not even recognize that there is a disk in the unit.
The error code I receive is [bold] No medium found [/bold]
    The dvd-rom is Samsung DVD-ROM Model SD-616T.
The dvd's played in the same unit under WinXp Pro with PowerDVD.
Standard commercial dvd play fine in the unit using VLC.

The dvd is not even recognized under the file browser(Nautilus).
I have attempted mounting the dvd but it returns
The error [bold] No medium found [/bold].

Any ideas as to what the problem is here??
