My computer recently got surged and it blew the motherboard. The C Drive is still fine, but i decided to upgrade and buy a new computer. I was just wondering if there is any way I can get any of the data off of that C: because I had some valuable programs on it. Any information on how I would do this or if it's even possible would be great. Thanks

use the old hd as a slave to get the data off. if programs are installed on old hd than can't use them as they are spread thru out old windows & registry.
