buying a camcorder

    I want to buy a new 1920 x 1080 camcorder. I am thinking of one of the CANON LEGRIA series. I need to have manual focus, manual exposure setting and manual sound level setting. Looking through the specs it usually mentions manual focus. occasionally says manual exposure, but never has manual sound. Does anyone know whether the CANON cameras all have manual focus, exposure and sound? Also do these camera have a line input for sound as I would like to avoid the internal microphone pre-amp.
