hi all, i just wanted to know your thoughts on this possible buy i could get.

The laptop is an Acer Aspire 3610 (i know its old!) it has 512mb of ram and i think 30gb harddrive. built in blutooth and wireless etc.

heres the link to the specs: http://www.dealtime.com/xPF-Acer-ACER-NOTEBOOKS-AS3613WLCI-CM-1-5-15-4IN-512MB-60GB-COMBO-XPH

    but its a 30gb harddrive.
I COULD get this for £40.00, and it would be for work only, not gaming.
im 16, and wanted to know your thoughts on if it would be spending my money wisely.

    Thanks alot. Ben

Yeah, it sure is old... If all you're doing is internet and apps like Word or Powerpoint, you should be fine. Just dont run a lot of them at the same time, because 512mb of ram really isnt a lot. For todays computers you should have at least 1GB of ram a Core 2 duo processor.
