Buying Chameleon, do I also need Programmer?

I just ordered the CHAMELEON W/ adapter. Do I need the programmer to reflash the chip so that I can use my back-up games? Help is appreciated.

You might also want to look at the homepage of the chameleon at www.xodus-chip.com to read the owner manual of the chip. It is well explained how-to flash your chip.
