Buying RAM

    I recently got a computer and i'm looking to update it with RAM. 1gb will do. In my computer I have 2 sticks of 512 RAM and I have a amd 4200+ dual core proccesor. To be exact I have

    System Memory Controller
    Location : Mainboard
    Error Correction Capability : None
    Number of Memory Slots : 4
    Maximum Installable Memory : 16GB
    Bank0/1 - DIMM_4 : Empty
    Bank2/3 - DIMM_3 : Empty
    Bank4/5 - DIMM_2 : 7F7F7F7F7F510000 64T64000HU3SB 09173D16 None DIMM Synchronous DDR2-SDRAM 512MB/64 @ 667Mt/s
    Bank6/7 - DIMM_1 : 7F7F7F7F7F510000 64T64000HU3SB 09174111 None DIMM Synchronous DDR2-SDRAM 512MB/64 @ 667Mt/s



    If you need to know anything else about it i'll tell you but i'm looking for a cheap 1g stick of ram (2x1) Thanks.

    make and model of your mobo would help as some makes dont like some makes of ram. cpuz will tell you that if your not sure, it will also give you some more info on your current ram(cas make model). as you might aswell get some more of the same if it works well in your set up.
