if you are using a kryptview A780 or 750 once you have the ethernet from your router to your box you dont need anything else

Hello, Great thread and fantastic info as always. I have a couple of questions

1, Does anyone know how much bandwidth these boxes will roughly use up? i've read various threads and all seem to say 'not much' or 'hardly any' Bandwidth. Is there a ballpark figure?

2, Do i need a basic t.v package?, with my old starview box i just needed BB without any TV Sub,

3, I take it as the new boxes, SV6 Kryptview etc connect directly to the router then a programme such as Peerblock installed on my computer wouldn't affect V*r*in being able to see dada packets?

    thanks in advance

you will need a min sub or your box will not get sufficiant signal strenght to run it providers have been turning down signals on BB connection now as they know what people are doing so min is advisable if you dont want to be on here all the time saying you are having probs

Bandwidth very little is needed no further reports on this

all future boxes will need a router a to be connected to the boxes

if you switch the BB off you wont have any TV as you need that as well as your cable feed

all need a cable feed and BB to work

what box are you on about all the old boxes no longer work so you will have to buy a new box only boxes that are working now are below NO OTHER ONES

    Kryptview A750 / A780
    starview 6/7
    starview combo
    ddigital duo

All need a BroadBand feed and a cable feed to work
