I just burned vob files and its ifo and bup files going with it and got a perfect DVD, playing in power dvd. I wanted to do the same procedure again, but then Nero told me that he had a power calibration error. I read some thing of the net, and change some settings on my computer ( administrativ tool ->service -> impai cd burning -> enable in the target files..sorry I can't be more spesific but I really don't have a clue on what I'm talking about) ..then Nero told me "no seek complete". So then I change the settings back. So now we're just back at the power calibration error. I'm sure the answers are written somwhere on this forum, but I sure can't find it.. Someone please help? The only information about which version of Neri I could find is 7.2.7.0, but well, I'm not sure if that is the version I'm using or if it some patch og update or whatever.. Thanks..! Sense Key: 0x03 KEY_MEDIUM_ERROR is usually poor disk quality and I wouldn’t burn at 16x speed go for 4x or 8x what make of disk are they ?
Killilot is right. If your not using Verbatims burn at 8X or you might get the power callibration error or some other goffy error. If it persists restart your computer as Nero likes an ocasional restart.
There should be more to the log than this. I dont like the version of Nero you are using 7.2.7.0 uninstall, run this clean tool http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero7_CleanTool.html and then install this version 7.5.9.0 from here http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/ You have Roxio installed, it clashes with Nero, to remove, run this zapper http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Roxio-Zap.shtml Correct: However as you are using Verbatim this is NOT so slow your speed to 8X.
If he is using verbatim doesn’t mean they aren’t poor disk yes verbatim are know for good quality but doesn’t say he hasn’t got a bad batch I brought some verbatim 4 years ago pack of 20 2x speed DVD-r got 10 left the 10 I’ve burned not one of them came out ok every now and then I get one out the cupboard just to see if I can get one of the fuc”””” to work no luck yet so the morrow of this story is if you got a brand name disk doesn’t always mean they are going to give you 100% success all the time and keep the bloody receipt
