Can anybody tell me how to convert VOB to AVI ?

    What software do I need? Do I need to convert it to MPEG first? Please help!!!

    "AVI" is a "slightly" broad range of things :) AVI itself is a wrapper, not a video format. If you prefer to have it in raw-data format AVI, it can be done easily with DVD2AVI -- full-length movie takes appx. 30-70GB of HDD space.
