    Hi to all.
I want to buy a dvd recorder. I have this options, all of them has the same price. Can anyone help me, please?

    NEC NC 1300 A
    LG GSA4040B
    PIONNER DVR 106
    IOMEGA 32700
    TEAC DV-W50d.

Just one more question. These are all dvd-/+rw. I just wont to save my videos to watch in an ordinary dvd (not in the computer). Can i buy a recorder who writes only in - format? (they are less expensive)

    Thank's to all

I would personally recommendthe Pioneer 106. Pioneer has a great many fans of their burners for good reason - quality, performance and compatability.

This question should be in the "DVD Drives" forum where you can read many opinions of the drives you listed. Lots of information over there.

I have the LG 4040B and it has been perfect so far. It is also a dvd ram which adds an extra dimension for a good burner that is priced great!

Huh? Pioneer is probably the most reliable writer on the market. The reason there may be more posts is that Pioneer has about 10 times the market share of NEC for DVD Writers.

    hi all

yes oriphus is probably right on the bigpockets prices! i dont know any other cheaper yet?

although i would search on simply.co.uk and dabs.co.uk as these sometimes throw up bargains! i would also try over-clock.co.uk and overclockers.co.uk as these have good prices sometimes?

the site i got my cheapo drive from is http:/www.scan.co.uk

    Thx...

Pioneer anyday although Teac's DV-W50d is exactly the same drive as the Pioneer.
Optorites DD0203 is a good drive at a good price.

Somthing to think about although with the 106 being like £104, its no competition.
