Can hear but no picture

    Hi ... I hope I am in the right section , Any ways I downloaded a movie from the net, I was able to view the movie with WMP with no problems but now after a few weeks has gone by I can only hear the movie , I can not see anything , there a blank/black screen , Is there a fix for this ? I'm using xp home sp2 , I will add below some info on the movie itself and I hope someone can point me in the right direction to correct this problem , Thanks

    well, this is a good one for me *scratches head* i would re-install my codecs for media player, maybe something for some reason became corrupt... I'm not sure here though. try the tsunami codecpack. you can google it. Hope this helps...

    Try playing the file in vlc player, if it works fine then you have a codec problem, you then uninstall your codecs and re-install them.

    I do not recomend codec packs.

    (using the same thought process) i need to burn a disk so i had better install 15 burning software suites.
