can i backup my movies?

    i want to back up all my dvd movies....can it be done on a pioneer a03?

    You certainly can. Many of us use the A03 for that.

    Some very easy programs that will help you copy your DVD Movies to single DVD are:
    For DVD-5's:
    Decrypter by itself will do the whole thing. Remove the copy protection and prepare the files for burning. COST -Free

    DVD-9's require compressing.
    DVDShrink will remove the copy protection, compress your movie down to the necessary 4.36GB size to fit on a single DVD-R and again prepare the files for burning. COST - Free

    The last thing you need is a good burning program; most of the guys around here like Nero or CloneDVD.

    One final hint - Don't scrimp on your DVD-R media. Poor media or media that's not compatible with your standalone Player seem to account for an awful lot of irritating problems -
