I have a DVD-R burner and I want to burn my MP3 collection onto DVD so I can play them on my home theater system (that plays MP3 format).
Sure you CAN, problem is that it is then 100% upto your DVD player if it supports MP3 playback from DVD-R.
Ok, so we know and accept that our DVD players may not play them... but all I want to do is archive my MP3's to DVD-R(W) and take 'em with me on a long business trip I have to go on... I will then just play them as files on my laptop. My Q is this: is there anything special I need to know about it before just doing a copy of all my MP3's to a DVD-RW disk or is it just like copying a load of files to CD-R(W)? Mike.
