Hi I have an Iphone 3G 8GB can i change the Text tone as i can't bear the ones on the phone i'd like my own. Is there any program's that do it like you do for the ringtones?? Thank you Emma
i'm not sure if you need to have your phone jailbroken... btw..mine wa jailbroken when i did this... you need to get iphonebrowser ..google it... then go into the ringtones directory and you can't add any new text tones you can only change the ones on it..for example...say u dont like the "chime" tone you need to look for that particular file name..make your text ringtone then save it as the same name as the "chime" ringtone so that it overwrites the file..
