Can I copy a copyrighted video?

    Hi,Ok this might sound like a dumb question but Im new to this so Im gonna ask.Is there anyway to copy movies from the movie store to dvd? If so can anyone please tell me which software would work. Thank you very much!

    Are you talking Store DVD to DVD or VHS tape to DVD. Both can be done but the VHS to DVD takes more time and converting.

    We don't do that! (Well, we could...)
    But we officially make one legal backup of our own licensed DVD.
    So ix-nay on the ental-ray talk, OK?
    That said, DaveLarge has the right idea :)
    First use DVDDecrypter to copy to HD.
    Then, DVDShrink or GordianKnot those files, to produce whichever format pleases you.
    Also, the Slysoft guys are workin' hard with AnyDVD - if they manage to stay out of Deep Shit, I might send them $40 bucks myself, lol

    LOL:: I don't see Rental in the post anywhere. Just a question about movies from a store. (possibly purchased)
