K well the subject doesn't make much sense but... Is there someway to project my laptop to my hdtv at high resolutions. I tried to do it the same way as i did with my old tv through the tv out but it still looked the same. I figured that the resolution would've been alot more clear than my old tv was. anyone have any ideas?

If your connecting your computer with the s-video out or the composite video out the picture won't be that clear like you said. If you can hook it up using the vga out on your computer it will come out better. There are devices that allow you to do that. A company that makes them is Focus Enhancments and the product is called TView. It allows you to connect your vga out to it and then an s-video cable to your TV. That's one way I know of that may give you a better picture.
