   this might be a stupid question but i'm just wondering...can i use any cd to burn audio files from my hard drive? my burner is RICOH CD-RW MP 6200A...

   This might be an even 'stupider' answer, but any blank cd-r or cd-rw should do.
   I've been using some crappy swisstec discs, 25 for £4,99 and apart from the ones I know I've screwed up they work fine.
