Can i use the LCD from my busted laptop and turn it into an external game screen

Hey guys,

I dont know if this has already been posted anywhere yet, but here is what im working with. I have a semi old Toshiba Satellite. I want to say the display on it is 1600X900. It crapped out on me a while back after i tried to fix something i shouldnt have tried by my self. long story short it would cost more to fix it then to replace the whole thing.

What i want to do is salvage the LCD screen on it and use it for my xbox360 or PS3. I really only have the knowledge to take it all apart. past that im lost. Would there be some kind of adapter available somewhere that i can get or am i going to have to wire something myself.
